About the Event
Do It Right RIT Boot Camp is a hands-on program designed to provide participants with the skills needed to deal with a MAYDAY.
With a blend of lecture, discussion and intense mentally challenging simulation exercises, participants will learn the skills needed to deal with this most stressful event.
Students will be training with the guidelines of the NFPA RIT 1407 standard. This is an intense hands-on program. This course will be delivered in a classroom environment with a combination of lecture, discussion, individual and small group break out exercises.
It will transition to the field for tasks level evolution, team building exercise and eventual participation in intense hands-on scenario-based MAYDAY events.
The program is physically and mentally demanding for all participants. Full PPE and SCBA will be needed.
